Memories
Memories are powerful feature of our brain. The more vivid, the better connection with our inner voice. When I suffered from a major emotional outburst on the busy streets of Delhi today I did not realize that I did not need an actual physical person with me to hold my hand and comfort me but I had this box size full of amazing and fuzzy memories to warm my heart and make me feel safe and loved.
It was instant gratification which I had when I started walking home from station and its like someone sent love and light from space for me that I remembered the voice and the talk I had this morning about our lives, about future and about ideas. It instantly brought a smile to my face that life is not that bad and that I am extremely grateful for having such relationships in my life I can fall back on when I am hit hard from incidents. And my heart said “listen to that la la land song” and I mellowed down and since then listening to the song on repeat.
