A whole lifetime or a blur????

  • Started with a great bang & promise.
  • Got the best surprise of love in many years – Got proposed.
  • Small trip with my best buds.
  • A dhamaal wedding ceremony at house.
  • Got promoted at work.
  • Pandemic Hit
  • Enjoyed the first month of lockdown with silent streets aka calm work days at home.
  • First drastic salary cuts 🙁
  • Found two traits of humans-
    • When upset they forget all good times
    • When happy they forget all past crimes
  • Started getting panic attacks ( I think that’s what they were)
  • Got overloaded with stress.
  • Major life plans altered.
  • Unhappiness synched to the core.
  • Distanced from everyone possible.
  • Closed all social media channels – they started giving anxiety.
  • The ones who cared, never left my side.
  • Stopped writing.
  • Learned to share the work load at home as no house help.
  • Fell sick.
  • Sleepless nights reappeared.
  • Confided.
  • Comforted by the love.
  • Started studying again.
  • Many long distance online WhatsApp video calls.
  • Exciting things started happening at work.
  • Birthday got celebrated at zoom with extended families.
  • Started picking up self by small habit changes.
  • Incorporated Ayurvedic lifestyle changes.
  • Started getting job calls.
  • Got rejected at a job as I was too customer centric, lol.
  • Got selected at a job as I was too customer centric, hmmm.
  • New challenges brought new zeal.
  • First baby of family arrived in our lives – became bua.
  • Got Covid.
  • Celebrated Diwali with fever, cough and bad food during Covid.
  • Got kickass Diwali present from boss.
  • Recovered from Covid.
  • Reconnected with friends – over calls.
  • Felt post Covid weakness.
  • Best friend got married with best guy ever.
  • Went beyond 500 meter for first time in 9 months to attend the wedding.
  • Read 5 books. Fav – Detox Diet and the little book of hygge.
  • Listened to many podcasts. Fav – Radhika Gupta at bearbicep.
  • Watched unbelievable numbers of sitcoms / movies. Fav – Schitt’s Creek, Sense 8, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Brittany runs a marathon.
  • Spent many many hours talking with mom.
  • Granny fell ill.
  • Mom’s slow Covid recovery.
  • Sleepless nights over families health.
  • Realized self care is of utmost important when taking care of family members health.
  • Enjoyed moments of blissful afternoons with chai & books in balcony during week offs.
  • Started workout – left – started again.
  • Met some wonderful people in new job.
  • Finally decided to start 2021 with a new promise.
  • Not chasing rainbows this time – rather cooking happiness here
